In Caribbean we use sago to make porridge. Did you know that you can use sago for a dessert?
I have made a Coconut Sago with Paw Paw. This is my version of how I make Coconut Sago with Paw Paw. My mom use to make it for us with apples but I change up the recipe. I use paw paw
Note: Use the dry coconut because it is a lot richer than the coconut in the pack. You will taste more of the flavour of the dry coconut as compared to the coconut in the pack. I observed this when I use the dry coconut and the coconut in the pack.
Variations: you can use different fruits such as apples, grapes, watermelon, kiwi.
For diabetics there is no need to add sugar or condensed milk.
So if you are thinking what to make for dessert you should try this recipe
